How Ciaera's AI works
Employees chat privately with an AI companion powered by Anthropic's Claude. It supports everyday wellbeing conversations. It is not a therapist, and says so when it matters.
For you, the same AI turns anonymous team data into weekly themes and insights, and answers your questions in the Discussion view.
Everything HR-facing is aggregated and k-anonymised: nothing appears unless at least 5 employees contributed in the selected period.
You can never see individual moods, chat messages, or identities. The server enforces this; it is not just hidden in the interface.
Claude analyses anonymous mood statistics and anonymised chat themes, then writes the summaries you see. All of it is AI-generated and labelled as such.
- It can be wrong. Treat insights as signals to explore with your team, not as facts.
- Small groups mean noisy data. One rough week can dominate a theme.
- It is not a medical or diagnostic tool and cannot assess individual people.
- Do act on team-level signals: workload, communication, leadership, processes.
- Don't try to identify individuals behind aggregates or themes.
- Don't use Ciaera for performance reviews, promotion, or termination decisions. It is neither designed nor permitted for that.
Ciaera processes no biometric data and performs no emotion recognition in the sense of Art. 5(1)(f). Employees get clear AI disclosures (Art. 50), and k-anonymity keeps the system outside high-risk workplace monitoring (Annex III). This page is part of our AI-literacy support under Art. 4.
